Chelsea is rumoured to be involved in retaining the services of Borussia Moenchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter, according to a number of sources.
According to the German publication Kicker through The Sun, the Blues are eager to sign Ginter after being impressed by his success this season.
The same publication revealed that manager Frank Lampard is set to plan a bit for the 26-year-old service in advance of the January transfer window.
As per The Sun, the Premier League sign could sign the defender for a fee of £30m despite his performances deserving a little more.
It is believed that the Stamford Bridge outfit could release Antonio Rudiger in order to make spaces for Moenchengladbach player.
Ginter has registered one goal in nine appearances across all competitions this season.
