France Player Kylian Mbappe is set to be on the sidelines ahead of Paris Saint-Germain Champions League match against RB Leipzig.
Mbappe was not available for selection at the start of the Champions League season after he had tested positive for Covid-19 and had also been out of action for the first three league games.
The 21-year-old has already scored seven goals and seven assists in eight games in all competitions and, becoming an injury concern ahead of Wednesday comes as a huge blow to the PSG.
Mbappe sustained a thigh injury during his side’s 3-0 victory against Nantes in which he scored and manager Thomas Tuchel was of the belief that he could be suffering from fatigue.
According to Goal reports, he was involved in Monday’s training sessions and was yet to undergo further scans to see the extent of the problem and PSG may have to be without his services.
The Les Parisiens are already without Neymar who picked up an adductor problem during the match against Turkish side Basaksehir and is set to be back in action around mid-November.
