Lionel Messi’s dad Jorge Messi has rejected claims that the French giants, Paris Saint Germain have already approached his son about a move to Paris.
ESPN Argentina reported that Messi might move to Ligue 1 in the summer, but Jorge went to Instagram to deny links urging the tabloid to ‘stop inventing fake news.’
Messi is currently on the Argentine National Team with Lionel Scaloni’s side facing two World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay and Peru and rumors has it that Messi is not completely fit for the tie after Barcelona reported that the player had some pain on his ankle.
The player started on the bench in Barcelona’s last game against Real Betis before the international break and it remains to be seen if he will be started in the games for his country.
Messi’s future at the club has been under scrutiny after he expressed his desire to leave the club last summer; Man City being the other club that was strongly linked with the player.
Messi’s contract expires next summer and there are teams already lining up to have his services should he fail to renew his contract with the Catalonia giants.
A día de hoy Jorge Messi no ha recibido ninguna llamada del PSG para intentar fichar a Leo Messi de cara a la temporada que viene . No ha habido ningún contacto entre él y el conjunto francés . Totalmente falso
