Manchester United has been linked to Braga Defender David Carmo as reports from the Red Devils to strengthen their defense make rounds in the media.
The 21-year-old has been described as ‘one for the future,’ and has been linked to the Serie A side of Roma and Fiorentina in the summer window.
According to ESPN, United is keen on the central defender who helped Portugal’s Under-19 side secure the 2018 Under-19 European Championships.
The report, though, claims that the Red Devils would have to shift either Phil Jones or Marcos Rojo, who are both out of favor at Old Trafford, in order to move for David Carmo.
David Carmo has missed Braga’s last two league games through suspension but was a constant in the early stages of the 2020-21 campaign, already making eight appearances in all competitions.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side also continues to be linked with RB Leipzig’s Dayot Upamecano.
