Chelsea FC striker Olivier Giroud is receiving offers from four Premier League clubs.
The Frenchman is not satisfied with the lack of time at his club and with the player becoming one of France’s top strikers ahead of Euros 2020, he has been continuously encouraged to switch to a team that would offer him more time to play.
The Athletic reports that the quartet of Tottenham, West Ham, Aston Villa and Newcastle have had Giroud on their wish-list at some point over the past year and it remains to be seen if any of them will make a move for the player in January.
The links resurface again a day after the Frenchman scored a brace as France emerged 3-2 winners over Sweden in the UEFA Nations League.
The player who has been linked with a move away from Chelsea before has found games hard to come by following the summer arrival of Timo Werner and Tammy Abraham being the preferred understudy for the German.
French manager Didier Deschamps on Tuesday admitted that the player must be playing regularly for his club if he is to make his Euros squad.
Olivier Giroud has now scored 43 international goals, now just eight shy of Thierry Henry’s record 51 goals for France.
