Wolves could lose winger Adama Traoré to Laliga after it emerged that the player had dreamed of returning to Spain.
The Premier League side hoped to tie the player to a long-term deal, but the talks stagnated with the player’s representatives, according to the Goal report, with the player now ready to return to his homeland.
Adama Traoré was in the Barcelona books before moving to England in 2015 with reports that both Real Madrid and Barcelona are interested in the player.
During his stint in England, the player has featured for Aston Villa, Middlesbrough and Wolves with the player showing his worth to the world in the pasts season where he was one of the impressive stars in the Premier League.
His sterling form saw him get a call up to the Spanish squad but with injuries and some Covid scare in the process, the 24-year-old was to make his Spanish national team bow last month.
Wolves valued him at more than 100 million in the last transfer window and while the player has maintained that he is working on improving at Wolves, he is yet to commit his future at the club with his current deal set to expire in 2023.
