Chelsea striker Giroud needs to increase the playing time or exit the Blues in the next transfer window.
As previously reported here on Futaa, Giroud has expressed concern about the continuously declining minutes of play he’s going to play at the club, although he’s the number one choice for the French world champions.
As a result, the 34-year-old striker worries for his national side as the 2021 UEFA Euros approach closer.
“It’s worrying. I thought I still had a role to play at Chelsea but my playing time is getting reduced a lot. It’s going to have to change or a decision must be made,” Giroud said to Telefoot.
“I’m clear about my situation: I’m going to have to make a decision in January. I’m hoping to make the right one, as I’ve always done,” said the former arsenal striker.
In the meantime, Giroud is rumored to be the focus of a few English clubs and a few more in France, Spain and Italy.
