Super Eagles position in FIFA rankings 2020, Nigeria’s senior national team finished as the 35th best team in the world this year.
In the December rankings released by FIFA on Thursday, the Super Eagles remain unmoved.
A total of 1474 points were earned by Genot Rohr’s men to remain the fifth-best team on the continent, behind Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco.
It was also a year the three-time African champions failed to win a single football game.
In a year disrupted by COVID-19, Nigeria lost 1-0 to Algeria in a friendly and drew 1-1 with Tunisia in another warm-up match in Austria.
Their double-header Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone ended 4-4 and 0-0 respectively.
Belgium finished number one in the world for the third consecutive time, followed by France, Brazil, England and Portugal.
