Chelsea has announced that Jack Wakely and Malik Mothersille have left Stamford Bridge to join Brighton and Derby County respectively amid their Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspurs on Thursday.
The West London club disclosed this in a statement via its website on Transfer deadline day.
The statement read: “Jack Wakely will spend the rest of the current season with Brighton’s Under-23s.
“Wakely has progressed through the age groups at Chelsea’s Academy since joining as an Under-9 and developed into a versatile defender.
“Malik Mothersille has moved on loan to Derby County to be part of their academy squad.
“The 17-year-old forward, who can play in several positions in attack, has appeared for Chelsea’s youth team this season and scored his first goal in the Under-17 Premier League Cup in October.”
